Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) has added Kindle page numbers and sharing features.

Seattle-based Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) has updated its Kindle software by releasing a new 3.1 version of its software, which adds features like page numbers and the ability to share notes publicly.

The new software also updates news and magazine layouts and a number of other sharing features.

Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s Kindle blog said in a blog that, “Our customers have told us they want real page numbers that match the page numbers in print books so they can easily reference and cite passages, and read alongside others in a book club or class.”

Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) company shares are currently standing at 176.43.
