American Express (NYSE:AXP) has partnered with Avios in a bid to add value for travellers.

American Express (NYSE:AXP) announced that it has teamed up with UK travel rewards program Avios.

This partnership will enable Avios members to collect points when exchanging foreign currency at all American Express (NYSE:AXP) Currency Exchange airport bureaux in the UK and Moneycorp London Gatwick airport locations.

Under this partnership Avios members can earn one Avios point for every £1 exchanged when currency is ordered online or at the airport.

American Express Co. (NYSE:AXP) company shares are currently standing at 57.52.
