Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) has scheduled the expansion of its partnership with Asia-Based Wilmar.

Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) announced that it reached an agreement with Singapore-based Wilmar International Ltd. to expand the companies’ existing partnership to fertilizer, ocean freight and tropical oil refining in Europe.

The companies will now collaborate globally on fertilizer purchasing and distribution, and they will work to improve ocean freight fleet management.

This partnership with Wilmar has also given Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) access to the market in China.

Patricia Woertz, Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) CEO, said that, “Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) has an excellent relationship with Wilmar’s leadership, and Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) sees Wilmar as a key partner, especially in our strategy to serve growing Asian demand for agricultural products”.

Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) shares were at 31.52 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 3.6% movement in the stock price over the past 3 months.
