AT&T (NYSE:T) has named Peter Thomson as general manager for New Zealand operations.

AT&T Gets New New Zealand GM

The wireless carrier AT&T (NYSE:T) has named Peter Thomson as the general manager for its New Zealand operations and sales manager for South and Western Australia.

In his new role, he will drive sales opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to his appointment in AT&T (NYSE:T), he was the sales and commercial director in IPConnect in Sydney.

Fred Girouard, managing director for AT&T (NYSE:T) Australia and New Zealand, said, “We’re delighted to have Peter on board. His strong track record in the industry speaks for itself. He brings knowledge, experience and strong leadership which will be key assets as we continue to build our business in New Zealand.”
