Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) is set to close its San Antonio branch office.

The Charlotte-based bank Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) has announced the closing of its San Antonio branch, as part of its decision to reduce its branch count by about ten percent.

The bank had said that it will close ten of its Texas branches this year and has already shut down 43 branches nationwide.

Diane Wagner, a spokeswoman for Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), said, “The downtown San Antonio office to be closed is at 112 E. Pecan St. Another nearby Bank of America banking office at 300 Convent St. downtown will remain open”.
