It has been reported that Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) has launched its popular Nook e-Reader’s latest version, the Nook Tablet.

This is an Android tablet with built-in apps for streaming music, streaming video and of course reading books.

The Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) Nook Tablet features a 7 inch touchscreen IPS display with 1024×600 pixels of resolution, powered by 1 GHz TI OMAP4 dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM runs on Android Gingerbread OS, 16 GB of internal storage capacity, external storage via MicroSD card slot, free cloud storage for books and magazines and Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth connectivity options.
