Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) has entered into a new deal to jointly drill oil exploration wells in Canada.

Partnering with Statoil and Repsol, the US based Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) will explore for oil and natural gas in exploration wells off Canada’s Arctic and Atlantic coasts.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) will be controlling 65% of the project.

Beside this, the companies will also cooperate on drilling wells in the Flemish Pass Basin, while Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) and Statoil will cooperate in the Beaufort Sea.
