The US based oil giant Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) has donated drugs and consumables worth millions of naira to the Ekpan General Hospital, in Uwvie council area of Delta state in Nigeria.

Femi Odumabo, General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs of Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) in Nigeria said, “The provision of medical drugs and consumables to the hospital is part of Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX)’s larger efforts to support the state to improve health care delivery to the good people of Delta state. We view health care as a crucial social investment as there can be no meaningful development in a society where the people are plagued by ill-health.”
