According to reports, Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO) Inc. has announced that it is stopping production on the pocket-size video camera.

The end of the Flip video camera could partially be due to new competing technologies that incorporates everything into one, such as the Apple iPhone and other smart phones.

Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO) has declined to elaborate on its reasons for shutting the Flip division, but it has faced mounting pressure to shore up its profit margins.
