Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has added an application which converts a home phone line to a smartphone.

Comcast Making Changes To Home Phone App

According to an announcement made by Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), it will add features to its existing application which contains a new function for call-forwarding home phone calls to a smartphone.

Cathy Avgiris, Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) executive vice president said “the upgraded app could save Xfinity customers money on their wireless bills because they can use the Xfinity home phone in the WiFi hot spot instead of their traditional wireless service, thus saving minutes.”
