Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) announced that it is launching a new phone service for its Southwest Virginia cable and Internet customers.

Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA)’s Xfinity Voice Unlimited Select offers basic home phone service, plus text messaging and the ability to check and listen to voice mail online.

Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) also introduced Xfinity On Demand, which offers movies, television shows, music, sports and children’s programming via television, computer or mobile device.
