The Wall Street Journal reported that former Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) CEO is in talks with Oracle Corp. on becoming a “Top Executive”.

As per the report, Mark Hurd, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) who stepped down last month, is expected to join Oracle Corp, performing similar job functions as at HP (NYSE:HPQ).

Though the report didn’t mention specifics about the talks, the present CEO of Oracle Corp., Larry Ellison, who has been there for the last three decades, is reportedly not planning to leave his position.

As the retail giant has lost round 1 of the battle for its new Delray Beach store, opposition is getting stronger, putting the company in real trouble.

Even after the staff recommended approval, the planning and zoning board of the city voted unanimously against the rezoning request of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT).

The president of the Tropic Isles Neighborhood Association Kelli Freeman said that “It was a huge victory. The planning and zoning board saw what we, the residents, saw. How can you rezone a parcel with no plan or anything in place to ensure appropriate development in that area?”

The Marion Police Department is collecting more info from the public regarding the robbery.The officers had said earlier that the robber was a male, and entered the 7th Avenue bank at about 9:30 am.

The location is between the Thomas Park and downtown Marion. According to the investigators, the robber is a “white male, 30-40 years of age, 220-240 pounds” and was wearing a mask.
