Maximo, the enterprise management product of IBM (NYSE:IBM) shall be used to improve the functioning of KiwiRail, and the maintenance crews will now have more up-to-date info on all the areas of work.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F)

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) will continue to look to emerging market expansion, as it joins with Mazda and invests in Thailand. The $350 Million investment shall be a 50-50 joint venture with Mazda and will help in the production of new Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) Mazda pickups by the middle of 2011.

The Rayong plant of Auto Alliance Thailand [AAT] will be expanded with the latest investment.

Toshinori Kusuhashi, the president of AutoAlliance Thailand said that “The new investment marks another important step forward in AAT’s development as a manufacturing hub.”

Chevron (NYSE:CVX)

According to government statements, the three year program is expected to start by the fourth quarter of this year.

“We are delighted to welcome Chevron as a partner for Liberia to explore our oil and gas assets,” Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the Liberian leader said in the statement.

“Along with its investment, Chevron will bring the latest technologies, best practices in transparency and efficiencies, and an excellent record of community and social responsibility,” he added.

We could see more movement when trading continues for IBM (NYSE:IBM), Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) and Chevron (NYSE:CVX).
