Categories: News, Stocks

Here’s the final batch of news stories which could have an effect on stock prices as trading continues. The following companies should see some movement: IBM (NYSE:IBM), Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) and Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HPQ).

Here is a more detailed look at the news that will affect each company when trading continues.

IBM (NYSE:IBM)

IBM (NYSE:IBM) has acquired Datacap, a privately held software company based in Tarrytown, New York.

Datacap is a leading software provider to organizations, to help them better manage the business procedures, and reduce paper work. Though the financial deals are not yet disclosed, this movement will strengthen IBM (NYSE:IBM)’s mission to transform organizations using better utility applications.

Better decisions and faster content management shall be what IBM (NYSE:IBM) will be able to offer to customers. The customers of Datacap are looking forward to a better experience with the information technology giants.

Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC)

The decline in demand on personal computer components has affected the stock, as tech companies across the board have shown some falls. This has lead to the market leader Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC), as well as its peers, facing a little downtime in their operations.

Though analysts had anticipated some changes or lowering in the second half of July, the fall was greater than expected, and the first week of August was even worse.

That said, Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) has predicted a strong future after their increase in sales last month, and as the economy continues to recover, they should be looking to a brighter future in 2011.

Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HPQ)

The Engadget tech-blog has reported a number of ‘trusted sources’ leaking news from a company meeting on Monday.

Though Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HPQ) had reported in an official statement earlier that they is planning a WebOS to be used in a variety of consumer products, nothing regarding the launching of WebOS tablet has been appeared in the official website yet.

We could possibly see more movement when trading continues for IBM (NYSE:IBM), Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) and Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HPQ).
