Here is another batch of news briefings which could affect stocks on world markets in trading later today.
The following stocks should see some movement: Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG), Travelers Cos. Inc (NYSE:TRV), Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT).
Here is a more detailed look at the news that will affect each company when trading continues.
Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG)

Proctor & Gamble Company’s (NYSE:PG) brand Head & Shoulders announced Monday it would be insuring Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu’s hair for $1 million through Lloyd’s of London, with Polamalu named as the beneficiary.
Head & Shoulders said in a statement, “Until now, no other NFL player’s hair has been so ridiculously full and thick to warrant this first ever type of insurance policy.”
Travelers Cos. Inc (NYSE:TRV)

Travelers Cos. Inc (NYSE:TRV) has finally won a 17 year-old reinsurange case over asbestos coverage.
New York state judge Richard Lowe ordered on Friday payments of $202.5 million and $59.8 million from Munich Re America Inc and the Excess Casualty Reinsurance Association, respectively, in a reinsurance case that has been dragging out for 17 years now.
The reinsurance companies plan to file an appeal in appellate court very soon.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT)

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) said that with the economic downturn, American consumers are more cost conscious than ever before.
As such they’re looking for ways to save their dollars, and the company says at its Sam’s Club division, coupon redemption was up by 29% — the first such increase since 1992.
According to Wal-Mart, however, shoppers are still only redeeming less than 1% of all coupon offers.
