Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) has hinted about a possible SUV version of the Prius.

On the Toyota Prius Facebook page, and image appeared recently, giving viewers a sneak peek at a possible new addition to the Prius line – a Prius SUV. The picture showed the current Prius, and another, larger vehicle in the background that we assume is a Prius SUV.

A Wall Street Journal article from earlier this week confirms this suspicion with reports from people at Toyota that said the company has plans for a roomy, sport-utility type of vehicle.

A White House committee has begun creating an official report on the BP plc (NYSE:BP) Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

A seven-member White House Oil Spill Commission has made plans to meet starting Wednesday on Capitol Hill to discuss that will culminate in a recommendation on the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The recommendation will be recorded in a report that will be released in January.

The proceedings will be available for viewing on the panel’s website, and a time for public comments may also be available toward the end of the proceedings.

A plan to quarantine computers who pose a threat to the internet has been discussed at Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT).

In an official Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) blog post, the company has highlighted the possibility of quarantining infected PCs.

Scott Charney, a Senior Vice President at the company, suggested infected computers would need a ‘heath certificate’ if they were to return to normal access on the internet.

He added, “Simply put, we need to improve and maintain the health of consumer devices connected to the Internet in order to avoid greater societal risk.”
