FedEx (NYSE:FDX) has opened a new ground facility in Carlsbad, California.

The new facility, located on Airport Avenue, is the most automated building it has to date and can expect proper security measures and quality customer service.

The new facility houses a computer room and state-of-the-art security features to ensure the confidentiality of residents’ inbound and outbound packages.

Local FedEx (NYSE:FDX) Ground Manager Audrey Gates said, “Convenient pick-up and drop-off site for FedEx (NYSE:FDX) Ground packages can be found around Carlsbad and now residents who live in the Airport Avenue area don’t have to drive into town to mail packages.”

FedEx (NYSE:FDX) shares were at 91.97 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 18.5% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
