Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has secured a $509 million loan for developing a new manufacturing plant in Thailand.

As a part of its move to build a new passenger car manufacturing plant in Rayon, the US based auto maker Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has signed the credit facility with Bangkok Bank, Tisco Bank and Export and Import Bank of Thailand.

Peter Fleet, the president of Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) Asean said, “This financing agreement plays a key role in fulfilling our One Ford global strategy. With an initial capacity of 150,000 units per year, the Rayong facility will start building the new Focus next year for sale in Thailand.”
