Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has reached a milestone in delivering its SYNC in-car connectivity system.

The US based auto maker giant Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has installed more than 4 million units of Ford SYNC, the voice-activated in-car connectivity systems introduced in 2007.

The company projects 9 million additional vehicles will be equipped with SYNC by 2015.

Derrick Kuzak, Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) group vice president for Global Product Development said, “YNC has been integral to keeping pace with the consumer, delivering value through a constant flow of new features that keep them connected to their digital lives in a safer, simpler and smarter way while driving.”
