Information technology company Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) and German enterprise software company SAP have signed an agreement for providing cloud-based delivery of SAP applications.

Eric Clark, HP Enterprise Services Enterprise Application Services vice president, said that, “Cloud delivery models are becoming a top priority for clients due to their quick deployments, cost-effectiveness and overall flexibility. In collaboration with SAP, HP is empowering clients to dramatically increase the availability and speed of business information via the cloud, paving a flexible path toward future growth.”

Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HPQ) shares are currently standing at 25.05.
