Home Depot (NYSE:HD) has started selling Philips 60-watt equivalent LED online.

Home Depot (NYSE:HD), which is making an aggressive push into LED lighting, has started selling a Philips LED bulb designed as a replacement for the 60-watt incandescent.

Home Depot (NYSE:HD) sells a number of other LED bulbs, including a general-purpose 40-watt equivalent LED from Lighting Science Group, which has a cooler white light.

It is working on a bulb that could be used as a 60-watt replacement. Home Depot (NYSE:HD) also sells a downlight from Cree and other spotlights, which have been the traditional strength of LEDs because they give off directional light.

Time Warner (NYSE:TWX)

It has been reported that Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) cable will be losing channels 18 and 24.

Two Milwaukee television stations owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. are streaming on-screen text announcements that the stations may not be available on Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) Cable by year-end if the stations’ owner and Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) cannot reach a new contract agreement.

Michael Pedelty, a spokesman for Time Warner (NYSE:TWX)Cable Southwest Ohio said that, “the companies are in negotiations. It’s important for customers to know that program decisions impact them. We want to reach a negotiation that is reasonable for our customers.”

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL)

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has decided to give one nonstop flight daily from Pittsburgh International Airport to Paris during the summer travel season.

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) began the service to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport last year. Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL)offered one Paris flight five days a week last summer before cutting back to its current schedule of one flight four days a week. The airline has a subsidy agreement with the airport, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and the state to offer these flights.

The company had the option to stop offering the Paris flights at the end of May 2011. Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) offers 31 daily nonstop flights from Pittsburgh to seven cities.
