While controversies and recalls over many new medications have been continuing, Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT) announced on Wednesday that the company’s new Hepatitis B Test has been cleared by the Federal Drug Administration.
The RealTime HBV test approved by FDA is used to measure the amount of Hepatitis B virus in the blood of patients.
The company said that “the test is intended for use as an aid in the management of patients with chronic hepatitis B infection undergoing anti-viral therapy.”
Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT)

Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT) have opened a huge new production facility in Arkansas. The $140 million investment in the Arkansas factory will employ around 600 workers, and will better serve the world with Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT)’s huge machines.
Plant manager Jon Harrison said while mentioning the four month training program of the company that “The plant produced its first grader in June, and two of the behemoths flanked the stage. We’re going to export a lot of product from this facility.”
