The Supreme Court has been asked to settle the patent suit which is ongoing between Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and I4i.

A report has said that there is no guarantee that Supreme Court will hear Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s patent issue with the Toronto Technology firm.

The patent suit is regarding software for incorporating user-data templates into different word-processing programs including Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s market-leading Word.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) spokesman Kevin Kutz said that denial “departs not only from Supreme Court precedent, but from the rulings of all the other appellate courts, and we are asking the Supreme Court to resolve this conflict.”

Best Buy (NYSE:BBY)

The used game market is becoming more competitive, as both Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) and Target have announced their entry into the market.

Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) shall be launching trade-in programs through their whole network in the US this year.

In exchange for the trade-ins, Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) will be offering $20 gift cards on multiple titles.

Target is also getting ready to have a kick off a similar system this September.

Kraft Foods Inc. (NYSE:KFT)

According to a MediaPost report, the new campaign has been being promoted using many sports celebrities, including all-star quarterback Joe Montana to ESPN journalist Erin Andrews.

Kraft Foods (NYSE:KFT)’s website is also giving tips to visitors on how they can fight hunger in the United States.

Aiming at a 20 million meals target, Kraft Foods (NYSE:KFT) will be donating one meal to the Feeding America food bank for each person who joins the Huddle.

There will probably be more movement when trading continues for Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT), Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) and Kraft Foods Inc. (NYSE:KFT).
