Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) are campaigning for the release of one of their executives, who is currently being held by Libyan authorities.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Wants Prisoner Release

The software giant said in an official statement that it is seeking the release of Khalid Elhasumi, the country manager of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), who is in the Libyan authority’s custody.

“We continue our efforts to ensure his safety and soonest possible release. We are hopeful that the authorities will release Khalid soon.”

According to reports, the executive has been in the custody of the authorities for two weeks.
