Banco Santander (NYSE:STD) Chile has established a $5.5 billion Medium Term notes program.

New Banco Santander (NYSE:STD) Notes Program

Banco Santander (NYSE:STD)-Chile SA (SAN) said that it has established a $5.5 billion Medium Term Notes Program.

As planned, Banco Santander (NYSE:STD) Chile will be able to issue medium term notes, which may be issued on a subordinated or unsubordinated basis under the program.

The notes will be denominated in any currency agreed between the Issuer and the relevant Dealers.

The company noted that notes may be distributed only to qualified institutional buyers and outside the United States to persons other than U.S. persons by way of private or public placement.

Banco Santander (NYSE:STD) stocks are currently standing at 11.66.
