The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Foundation has awarded a grant to the Center for Puppetry Arts.
Home Depot Foundation Gives $20k Grant
The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Foundation has awarded $20,000 to the Center for Puppetry Arts through its sixth annual Building Community Day program.
The donation will fund the Center’s Field Trip Sponsorship Program, created to ensure that children of all economic backgrounds have the opportunity to experience the Center’s unique, arts-infused educational programs.
Kelly Caffarelli, president of The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Foundation, said that, “Home Depot (NYSE:HD) feels it is especially important to support local nonprofits that share our goal of creating and maintaining a healthier and more stable Atlanta. By creating a partnership with the Center for Puppetry Arts, Home Depot (NYSE:HD) believes we have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our hometown”.
