Panasonic Corp. (NYSE:PC) has become the first official sponsor of the London 2012 Paralympics.

The electronic products maker Panasonic Corp. (NYSE:PC) has become the official visual and audio equipment partner of the London 2012 Paralympics.
The company will provide the full line up of equipments including LED large screen display systems, flat screen televisions, professional audio systems and digital video cameras.
It will also sponsor HD video equipment to competition venues and the International Broadcast Center.
Panasonic Corp. (NYSE:PC) said in a statement, “Panasonic Corp. (NYSE:PC) has been an official partner of the Paralympic Games since the Torino 2006 Paralympic Winter Games. Through its support for international sporting events such as the Paralympic Games, Panasonic aims to contribute to the promotion of world peace and greater worldwide acceptance of people with disabilities”.
Panasonic Corp. (NYSE:PC) shares were at 9.22 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 4.7% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
