The free update will bring BlackBerry Mobile Fusion to 37 new countries. The Service Pack 1 will add new features to iOS and BlackBerry devices.

Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM)’s enterprise product management senior director Jeff Holleran said, “BlackBerry Mobile Fusion offers a complete end-to-end mobile device management solution, which further extends our leadership in delivering unrivalled enterprise-grade mobility solutions. We have listened to feedback from our customers about how we could help them be even more effective and have prioritized the development of the new features and functionally with this update”.

The BlackBerry maker will give the bonus if the app earns more than $10,000. The app has to be submitted before the expected launch of BB10 in the first quarter of next year.

Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) said in a blog post, “If your app earns more than $10,000 USD – awesome! – you still don’t qualify (and don’t need the money anyway!). Quality matters. And we have every confidence in our developer community’s ability to be successful. The BlackBerry maker Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) will unveil six BlackBerry 10 devices in early 2013.

The company has alreadt given a sneak peek of two BB10 devices, which are targeting the high, mid and entry-level markets, to Pocket Lint. The company will debut the BB10 operating system in early 2013 and the devices will be released later.

Pocket Lint said in its website, “In the hour long play we’ve had so far with the two devices, we were shown a number of features of the new OS as well as told that the hardware has been finalised and now in a testing phase within RIM and the operators. That process is expected to take up until the expected launch next year”.

The BlackBerry maker Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) has appointed Rob Orr as the new managing director for its UK and Ireland operations ahead of its BB10 roll out.

He will take over the new position on September 1, replacing Stephen Bates who was appointed as the regional managing director for Europe.

Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) said in a statement, “With this new appointment, he now takes on the fresh challenge of maintaining and building on the strong business momentum in the UK and Ireland markets”.

The new OS, which is based on QNX software, is in its final testing stages and the company expects to release it by early next year.

Reuters reported, “The acquisition of NewBay in Dublin, Ireland, was a huge part of the former RIM leadership’s plan to alter its course and boost service revenue by having carriers use its services for messaging, content delivery and analytics on all smartphones”.
