As a part of its move to boost social marketing and to develop an online relationship with its customers, the UK based retailer Tesco PLC (LON:TSCO) has launched an official Facebook page.
The company is also planning to give exclusive offers to Facebook fans to use the page to interact with customers and answer customer service enquiries.
A Tesco PLC (LON:TSCO) spokeswoman said, “Customers want to know what Tesco PLC (LON:TSCO) is offering on a massive range of topics – from our role in the community through to Clubcard offers. We’ve created this site to bring together all the Tesco PLC (LON:TSCO) online communities – such as Real Food, Clubcard and Race for Life – and to make it easier for customers to talk to us about what interests them.”
