Verizon Wireless, a subsidiary owned by Vodafone Group Plc. and New York City based telecommunications company and broadband internet service provider, Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ), has reportedly been under the surveillance of the Justice Department as their deals with cable companies arose suspicion.

Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) spokesman, Peter Thonis, said, “We have received no information on which to comment.”
