Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT), the Bentonville based retail multinational retail giant, has decided to add rifles, shotguns and ammunition to hundreds of U.S. stores as a part of the company’s strategy to make available everything that customers may want want in their household.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT) hopes that by adding guns and ammunition, more male customers will be attracted to the stores.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT) representative David Tovar said, “We made a business decision to sell them in certain stores because we have realized the appeal was perhaps broader than we thought. But we are committed to doing it as responsibly as possible, as always, in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.”
