KT Corp. has announced plans to proceed with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad offers.

The ‘Identity Tab’, a tablet computer from the Korean company, has already hit the domestic market, but it says that the company is still interested in offering Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPad to its customers.

In a media conference, Vice President of KT’s Life Convergence Business Department, Kim Sung-chul said that “(KT) is definitely thinking of launching the iPad in Korea, but I can’t tell you the exact timing of the launch.”

Wednesday 1 September

Apple, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) live videocast will begin later today, and it will be the first time in 5 years Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) will stream a media events live to its users.

But the company is only broadcasting to people with Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) products, meaning Snow Leopard Mac or iOS device like the iPhone and iPad, live.

Some have speculated that Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is merely testing HTML 5 video streaming capabilities.

Others say Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) wants to test out the server capacity at its new North Carolina data center.

Thursday 2 September

Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s new TV box has received support from from Netflix DVD rentals, which will be a feature of the new product.

This isn’t just a boon for Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL).

Judging by the way Netflix Inc. shares shot up 7 percent when the news was released on Wednesday, we’re betting that Netflix will profit a great deal from this partnership as well.

Friday 3 September

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) said it will drop support for software updates on previous versions of its Apple TV. In a press release event in San Francisco, the company has officially announced that the old Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) TV owners will no longer be getting any software updates from the company.

The newest development came after the introduction of a revamped model this week.

The event was also used to introduce a new range of iPods, a newer version of iTunes and several OS previews.
