The US based banking giant Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) has announced the launch of its new environmental grant program aimed at awarding $100 million to nonprofit organizations and universities by 2020.

Mary Wenzel, director of environmental affairs for Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) said, “The Environmental Grant program we are announcing today is in addition to Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC)’s enhanced $30 billion environmental finance commitment aimed at building stronger communities and accelerating a transition to a greener economy.”

Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) stocks were at 30.05 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 1.4% movement in the stock price over the past 3 months.
